Sennheiser HD 560S Review.
Narrow soundstage
Clean audio
Lacks bass
Audio can feel thin most of the time
Another highly overrated headphone. Bought this based on various sources on the internet, most of which gave this high praise. This is suitable for listening to music only in my opinion. Lacks bass, and treble can be a bit harsh and makes the audio sound thin. It can be used for movies but the lack of bass makes it really unenjoyable and while I use them mainly for gaming, when tested in Battlefield V, the audio sounded very thin and while gunshot sounds are nice, explosions were very lackluster due to lack of bass on this headphone. I do not find them suitable for fps games but they are usable in other types of games. Tested with a few racing games and a jrpg and it sounded fine. I have a Creative G6, so this has been used via DAC. Really not worth the asking price and I bought them on sale and still regret it. Built quality and comfort are not good either. I had a 599se from this same brand which was decent but the bass in it was muddy. At this point, having bought many headphones prior to this and almost all of them feeling like a waste of money, I think that it would be better for buyers to demo headphones if that option is available before spending money on any, and to not trust internet reviews, you can feel free to not trust mine either for that matter.
